Selkirk Sport, a family-owned business located in the scenic northwest near the Selkirk mountains, was founded by Mike, Rob, and Jim Barnes—a father and two brothers who set out to become leaders in pickleball paddle innovation and technology. Guided by their core principle of uncompromising quality, the Barnes family is dedicated to producing high-performance equipment while also enhancing the pickleball community. Selkirk Sport strives to uphold the integrity of the family-oriented, close-knit pickleball community and aims to inspire every generation to engage in and appreciate the sport.
While priced higher than other brands like VaticPro & SixZero, I think Selkirk does more to help grow the sport than most other brands. When purchasing from Selkirk Labs, you're investing in the R&D of paddle technology. If money is of no issue, the 006 is a great paddle.
